How to Maximize Your Dental Insurance Benefits!

The holidays are upon us! We understand that things are hectic at this time of the year, and you're likely not thinking about your dental insurance. However, there is some critical information to consider that we like to share with our patients at this time.

Essential Facts to Know About Dental Insurance Benefits

Most patients have dental plans that run on a calendar year. That means benefits begin in January and end in December. Your plan may have a yearly maximum of benefits that will run out in December.

If you need dental treatment, now is a great time to schedule your appointment––before the end of the year to make the most of your dental benefits. If you don't use those benefits before December 31st, you will lose them.

Why It's Best to Schedule Your Treatment Soon

Here are some things to consider and some reasons to get your treatment scheduled now:

  • You've probably already met your deductible for the year.
  • You'll avoid losing valuable benefit dollars.
  • Dental concerns that need treatment can worsen over time, causing you to need more complex procedures.
  • Treatment fees can increase in the new year.

Our schedule fills up quickly in November and December, so please get in touch with our Alpharetta dental office as soon as possible to ensure we can schedule your appointment before the end of the year.

Dr. Kai works with several dental insurance plans, including Aetna and Delta Dental. Our team is happy to assist you in understanding your benefits, what they cover, and if you have any out-of-pocket expenses, so please don't hesitate to contact us with your questions.
